When BNCT is performed, the decision on the
indication for BNCT depends on the ratio of tumor uptake of 18FBPA to normal tissue (T/N ratio) in 18F-BPA-PET scans. However, it has recently been reported that prolonged residence
time of BPA in tumors contributes to improved
therapeutic efficacy of BNCT.1) Therefore, BPA
uptake alone may not be sufficient to predict
