FORMAL DEGREES AND LOCAL THETA CORRESPONDENCE: QUATERNIONIC CASE

概要

This is a digest for the author’s thesis “Formal degrees and local theta corre- spondence: quaternionic case”. We determine constant occurring in a local analogue of the Siegel-Weil formula, and describe the behavior of the formal degree under the local theta correspondence for quaternionic dual pairs of almost equal rank over a non-Archimedean lo- cal field of characteristic zero. As an application, we prove the formal degree conjecture of Hiraga-Ichino-Ikeda for the non-split inner forms of Sp4 and GSp4.
